Merry Christmas, BBC America! The cast of “Doctor Who” all chipped in and got you your best TV ratings of 2016.
“Doctor Who” Christmas special “The Return of Doctor Mysterio” on December 25 has now delivered 1.7 million total viewers, including three days worth of delayed tune-in.
Of that sum, 900,000 came from the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics.
That means the special ranks at BBCA’s top telecast of the year in all key demos. It was also the most social program across Facebook and Twitter on actual Christmas night.
