Does the Kardashian-Spawned ‘American Psycho’ Spoof Keep Up With the Original? (Video)

Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban release axe murder spoof to help Kanye West promote his new album "Yeezus"

If only we could axe "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" off the TV schedule.

In the latest spoof of the famous "American Psycho's" murder scene, Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick plays Christian Bale playing Patrick Bateman. Kim Kardashian's best friend, Jonathan, plays the guy who's brutally murdered. And it's all in the name of promoting Kim's boyfriend Kayne West's new album, "Yeezus," which officially came out Tuesday.

"Hey, do you like Kanye West?" Disick asked Cheban. "The early work was a little too hip-hop for me and my taste, but when 'Dark Twisted Fantasy' came out in 2010, I think he really came into his own both musically and lyrically."

Disick (as a yippy version of Bateman) calls "Yeezus" Kanye West's "most exciting record so far," and labels "New Slaves" the album's "undisputed masterpiece."

As far as acting chops go, Disick should probably stick to his day job. Which is…what, exactly?

Here's Disick and Cheban's parody:

Beating the "Kardashian" boys by a few months was Huey Lewis and "Weird" Al Yankovic, who were promoting the April 30 anniversary of Huey Lewis & The News' "Sports" album. The band and the album were a big part of the original scene from "American Psycho."

Here's Huey and Al's version. Tell us in the comments section: who did it better?

And of course — because this never gets old — here is the iconic original scene from "American Pyscho."
