Dolce & Gabbana Troll Melania Trump Haters With a $245 T-Shirt (Video)

Designer duo responds to consumer boycott after backlash over collaboration with First Lady

Italian fashion duo Dolce & Gabbana found an interesting way to troll critics who are fuming over their decision to dress First Lady Melania Trump: a mock ad for a “#Boycott Dolce & Gabbana” T-shirt, which you can buy at the bargain price of $245.

In the ad for the new “#Boycott” t-shirts, models playing protesters can be seen waving protest signs and chanting at police.

The white T-shirts — emblazoned with the company’s logo, a large “#Boycott” and a red heart — can be purchased on the company’s website, in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Stefano Gabbana posted a video to his Instagram account on Monday, along with the caption: “All the lovers and all the #HATERS Reliving #boycottdolcegabbana.”

D&G has come under fire ever since the White House released the first official portrait of Melania wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana blazer. Gabbana then posted her photo on his Instagram, writing, “#DGWomanBEAUTIFUL #melaniatrump Thank you #madeinitaly.”

When a critic attacked him on Twitter for supporting Melania, Gabbana shot back in Italian: “vai a cagare,” which translates to “go to hell.”
