Dominic Pagone has joined Showtime as Senior Vice President of Entertainment Publicity, the network announced on Monday.

“Dominic is one of the most astute and accomplished entertainment publicity executives working in our industry, and also one of the most well-liked by press and peers everywhere,” said executive vice president of communications Johanna Fuentes.

“His creative and strategic voice will play an important role in promoting our expanding original programming slate and the overall excellence of the Showtime brand. I couldn’t be happier to have Dominic on board,” she added.

Pagone will oversee entertainment public relations on the East and West coasts, based in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for all PR campaigns and for creating media plans for network’s original series, limited series, documentaries, comedy specials and unscripted programming. Pagone will report to Fuentes.

Pagone moves to Showtime from FX, where he spent 18 years and became senior vice president of communications in 2015. In his role there, he oversaw trade communications, talent relations, public affairs and photo publicity for FX, FXX, FXM and FXP. Pagone was the lead publicist for “Sons of Anarchy” during its seven seasons, as well as for “The League.” He co-led publicity for “Justified,” and saw the launch of “The Strain,” “Married” and “Man Seeking Woman.”

Pagone, a graduate of the University of Southern California, lives in Los Angeles with his family.
