After booking Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and the former Breitbart reporter he’s accused of assaulting, Fox News tells TheWrap both have canceled their appearances on the network.
“Corey Lewandowski was booked exclusively for tonight’s show and the campaign subsequently canceled his appearance,” executive producer of “The O’Reilly Factor” Amy Sohnen said in statement on Tuesday.
A Fox News spokesperson told TheWrap that Michelle Fields has also canceled her scheduled appearance.
Lewandowski, who was charged with misdemeanor battery charges Tuesday for allegedly yanking Fields’ arm at a Trump speech earlier this month, was supposed to be interviewed by Bill O’Reilly at 8 p.m. ET, while Fields was scheduled to sit down with Megyn Kelly at 9 p.m. along with Brietbart former editor-at-large Ben Shapiro, who is planning to make an appearance.
Trump will be interviewed by Sean Hannity at 10 p.m.
