Apparently Donald Trump’s dislike for CNN doesn’t keep him from watching CNN — at least when NBA star LeBron James is on.
James sat down with CNN host Don Lemon for an interview that aired Friday night, and whatever he said rubbed the president the wrong way.
Trump called Lemon “the dumbest man on television” who “made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do.” Then he added, “I like Mike!”

“Mike,” of course, refers to Michael Jordan, the 1980s-90s basketball star most often cited as James’ rival for the title of Greatest of All Time.
Back in June, James roasted Trump after the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles were un-invited from a White House visit.
“I know no matter who wins this series,” said James, referring to the then-in-progress NBA finals, “no one wants to get invited anyways, so it won’t be Golden State or Cleveland going.” Nothing but net.
As of this writing, James hasn’t responded to Trump’s attempt to spark a Twitter beef with him.
He’s been more focused lately on his move to the L.A. Lakers, his TV and film projects, and his philanthropic efforts like the new public school he founded in Akron, Ohio.
