Donald Trump Hits President Obama With ‘Star Wars’ Attack Ad (Video)

Republican candidate mocks commander-in-chief for screening new film at White House

Trump Star Wars Ad

Donald Trump showed off his knowledge of trending topics in his ongoing presidential campaign, targeting President Obama with a new “Star Wars” themed attack ad.

Trump uploaded the brief clip to Facebook, one that declares “we are in a serious war,” spliced with footage from recent terror attacks and voiceovers from newscasts about ISIS.

Viewers are then told Obama “is busy with another war,” as the footage abruptly cuts to a recent press conference the commander-in-chief ended by saying “I’ve got to get to ‘Star Wars.’” The clip is set to a muzak version of John Williams’ iconic “Star Wars” battle score.

“Time for a leader with real priorities,” the ad concludes.

The president was referring to a screening of Disney’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” held for military families who lost loved ones in combat. Trump is clearly not impressed.
