Way to take it to the hole with your new campaign logo, Donald Trump and Mike Pence.
After presumptive GOP presidential nominee Trump announced he has chosen Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his pick for vice president, a new logo for the union was unveiled, and it looks like running mates aren’t the only mates the campaign has in mind.
Just look at the “T” in Trump, boldly penetrating the very core of Pence’s “P,” as the stripes of Old Glory look on, seemingly blushing. Is it getting patriotically hot in here?
We’re not the only ones who noticed a certain erotic subtext to the image. Former Michigan congressman John Dingell wondered on his Twitter account, “What is the T doing to that P?”
Meanwhile, Florida Rep. Alan Grayson mused, “This logo accurately represents what Trump Pence will do to America..”
And Bloomberg Politics writer Matt Negrin helpfully offered a pixelated version of the logo for news outlets constrained by the bounds of decency.
Maybe the two running mates should go all the way already and change the slogan while they’re at it. “Trump-Pence: Yeah, You’re Screwed,” perhaps?
