Ted Cruz Offers to Debate ‘Ducking Donald’ Trump One-on-One (Video)

“Ted Cruz is willing to stand up and defend his record, anytime, any place. Why isn’t Ducking Donald?” Texas senator’s new website, DuckingDonald.com, asks

Ted Cruz is making the most out of arch-rival Donald Trump’s decision to skip tomorrow’s Fox News GOP debate. In fact, he’s challenged his fellow Republican presidential candidate to a one-on-one debate if he’s too “afraid of Megyn Kelly” to moderate.

While appearing on FNC’s “Hannity” last night, Cruz plugged a new website DuckingDonald.com. The site actualy leads users to TedCruz.org, but not just any boring part of the presidential candidate’s site. This part of Cruz’s site is special.

A picture of Trump’s head on Scrooge McDuck-like pile of money is adjacent to the following message:

If Donald Trump is afraid of Megyn Kelly, then Ted Cruz is willing to debate “Ducking Donald” one-on-one. Ted Cruz is willing to stand up and defend his record, anytime, any place. Why isn’t Ducking Donald?

Cruz told Hannity that, “Any candidate for president owes it to the voters to go and stand in front of them” and called it “a matter of basic respect.”

The site, paid for by Cruz For President, asks users to provide their name, email and zip code before hitting the “I’m For Cruz” button that checks the “Yes, Donald Trump should debate Ted Cruz” option.
