Sorry, N*Sync fans, but your dreams of an N*Sync reunion at this year’s Super Bowl have a slim chance of being realized.

Fans have been hoping for another N*Sync reunion for years (that brief reunion at the 2013 Video Music Awards just wasn’t enough), and Super Bowl LII seemed like the perfect opportunity with Justin Timberlake as the half-time headliner.

But former boy band member Joey Fatone told TMZ that he, at least, isn’t prepping for a reunion.

“If I was doing something, I’d be at rehearsals right now,” he said. “So obviously there’s your proof.”

Timberlake will perform at half time in Minneapolis, MN, as the New England Patriots face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 4. His last performance at the game has become one of infamy, thanks to Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction in 2004.

Timberlake has been milking the roll out of his new album, “Man of the Woods,” which will come out in full the Friday before his Super Bowl performance.
