Dwayne Johnson Shares ‘Rampage’ Set Photo: ‘We’re Makin’ a Pretty Mega Monster Movie’ (Photo)

“Rampage” also stars Naomie Harris and is set for release next April

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Naomie Harris are tied up and are being escorted by DHS Agents in a set photo from Johnson’s upcoming movie “Rampage.”

The Rock took to Instagram on Friday night to share a 4 a.m. set photo, captioning the image, “Been shooting all night and I’m jacked up on caffeine but at least I’m getting in trouble with my partner in crime, the lovely and extremely talented, Naomie Harris. Now if I can just break these military flex cuffs, I can do some real hero shit and look cool in front of my leading lady. And by ‘look coo'” I mean get my a– handed to me by these armed military boys. We’re makin’ a pretty mega monster movie down here. Hard work but a lotta fun.”

“Rampage” is based on the 1980s video game and will feature three monsters who are wreaking havoc across North America — Johnson is the only hope of stopping them.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman and Joe Manganiello also star in the action film, directed by Brad Peyton (“San Andreas”).

The thriller reunites Johnson, New Line, producer Beau Flynn and Peyton, who also worked together on “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.”

Ryan Engle wrote the original screenplay. Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal revised it, with Adam Sztykiel handling current revisions.

“Rampage” is set for an April 20, 2018 release.
