Amy Introcaso-Davis is joining E! as head of programming, the network announced Tuesday.

Introcaso-Davis is stepping in as executive vice president of development and production. She most recently worked at GSN, where she helped develop hit shows such as “Skin Wars” and “The American Bible Challenge.”

Prior to joining GSN in 2011, she held roles at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, Bravo, Oxygen, Lifetime and Fox.

She will take over for Jeff Olde, who helped spearhead E!’s foray into scripted programming after stepping into the role in March 2013. He exited last week.

“Amy brings extensive experience and a track record of success creating hit shows that appeal to women, as well as a deep understanding of today’s pop culture landscape,” E! president Adam Stotsky said in a statement. “I look forward to partnering with Amy as she leads our talented development and production team, and we continue to innovate and expand our slate of hit unscripted franchises that are rooted in pop culture and celebrity lifestyles.”

“It’s thrilling to return home to NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment in a role that is so closely aligned with my true passion for pop culture,” Introcaso-Davis said. “I am so excited to be working with Adam and team on a brand that I have long admired and consumed and am eager to join them in identifying and producing distinctive content that feeds our entertainment obsessions.”
