E! Orders ‘L.A. Clippers Dance Squad’ Reality Series

Show chronicling auditions and lives of basketball cheer team will air in 2016

E! has ordered reality series “L.A. Clippers Dance Squad,” the network announced Monday.

The eight-episode series will chronicle the lives of the Clippers dancers. The show will cover summer auditions, rehearsals and the personal lives of the dancers who make the team.

“The Clippers dance team is an established and popular part of L.A.’s sports story, and we are excited to give our fans an exclusive peek into this high-energy world,” said Jeff Olde, E!’s EVP Programming and Development, in a statement. “This series will bring a fascinating and revealing look at this exclusive organization and the glamorous, larger-than-life women who are competing in a very high-stakes game both on and off the court.”

Mike Tollin and Jon Weinbach serve as Executive Producers for Mandalay Sports Media, and Leola Westbrook serves as an Executive Producer as well. Cash Warren is also a producer on the series.
