Luke Evans Action-Thriller Series for Apple TV+ Gets November Premiere Date, First Look (Photos)

The series also stars “Game of Thrones” alum Michiel Huisman

“Echo 3,” the action thriller series from “Hurt Locker” producer Mark Boal and starring Luke Evans, Michiel Huisman and Jessica Ann Collins, will premiere this November on Apple TV+.

The upcoming Apple TV+ drama will debut with three episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 23, with new episodes dropping every Friday through Jan. 13.

Set in South America, the series follows Amber Chesborough (Collins), a brilliant young scientist who is the emotional heart of a small American family. When Amber goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Evans), and her husband, Prince (Huisman) – two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts – struggle to find her in a layered personal drama, set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war,” per the logline from Apple.

The streamer also dropped several first look images on Friday.

“Echo 3” co-stars Martina Gusman as “Violetta,” a prominent political columnist. James Udom, Maria Del Rosario, Alejandro Furth, Juan Pablo Raba and special guest star, Bradley Whitford are also part of the cast. “Echo 3” is based on the series “When Heroes Fly,” created by Omri Givon, and inspired by Amir Gutfreund’s novel.

Boal is the showrunner, and is a director and executive producer, alongside Keshet Studios’ Peter Traugott, Jason Horwitch, Omri Givon, Eitan Mansuri, Jonathan Doweck, Mark Sourian, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman and Karni Ziv. Pablo Trapero directed four episodes including the pilot and serves as an executive producer. 

The show was filmed in Colombia and features English and Spanish dialogue. 

It is produced by Keshet Studios, the U.S. production arm of Keshet International.
