Ed Helms, John Stamos, Cheryl Hines Push Yahoo Deeper Into Celebrity Programming

John Stamos will host a show asking celebrities about their first sexual experience

Ed Helms, John Stamos and Cheryl Hines were just a few of the several Hollywood stars who took the stage on Monday during Yahoo’s presentation to advertisers, as the web giant positioned itself as the preeminent online hub for both comedy and celebrity.

Yahoo revamped its video strategy a year and a half ago, establishing a new portal dedicated to series from the likes of Morgan Spurlock and Judy Greer. Since then, it has continued to expand its offerings, particularly in the comedy area with shows like “Burning Love” and the recent acquisition of the “Saturday Night Live” library.

Yahoo unveiled six new shows on Monday, three them comedy and the remainder lifestyle shows.

Helms created "Tiny Commando," a web series that TheWrap first reported would be part of Yahoo's presentation. He stars as Cesar Pequeno, a four-inch-tall private investigator using toy radio controlled vehicles to fight crime.

"Chuck" star Zachary Levi plays his arch nemesis, which Principato-Young Entertainment produced.

“I don’t just play a nerd in ‘The Hangover’ movies, I am a giant nerd,” Helms said. “I grew up playing with radio toys obsessively.”

“The show is huge but really tiny because we shot it all with radio controlled vehicles.”

Hines co-stars with Rachael Harris in “We Need Help.” The actresses share a personal assistant and force him to do all sorts of unenviable tasks in the show.

In “Losing Your Virginity with John Stamos,” the actor interviews assorted celebrities about their first sexual experience. He produced with Spurlock.

Celebrity stylist Brett Alan Nelson shows viewers how to get the most from one particular article of clothing in “Fashion Recipe,” while Julianna Strickland and Natasha Feldman host “Cinema & Spice,” a show that promises to explore food and film while teaching viewers new cooking skills and decorating ideas.

And a new cooking show  with the working title “Grill Girls” features Chef Megan Mitchell sharing her grilling secrets on everything from steaks, to peaches and pizza.
