“Baby Driver’ director Edgar Wright still hasn’t seen “Ant-Man” and probably never will.

During an interview with Uproxx, Wright was asked if he’s seen the film, which he was initially supposed to direct. He responded, “I didn’t. I haven’t seen it and I haven’t even seen the trailer.”

“It would kind of like be asking me, ‘Do you want to watch your ex-girlfriend have sex?’ Like, ‘No, I’m good,’” added Wright.

Wright departed Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man” in 2014 after spending eight years developing the script. At the time, Marvel described the breakup over “differences in their vision of the film.”

Peyton Reed signed on as director and the film, starring Paul Rudd, arrived in theaters in 2015. “Ant-Man” made over $500 million globally — a sequel, “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” opens July 6, 2018.

“The closest I came to it was that somebody sitting near me on a flight was watching it,” said Wright. “And when I saw that the person sitting next to me was going to watch the movie, I thought, hmm, maybe I’m going to do some work on my laptop.”

Wright added that although he has a writing credit on the final film and he’s close friends with Rudd, he has “zero regrets about not doing the movie,” but has no desire to see the final cut.

Wright’s next film “Baby Driver” opens Wednesday in theaters.
