Elisabeth Hasselbeck made her final regular appearance on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday, and got emotional while saying goodbye to her co-hosts and thanking Fox News chief Roger Ailes.

“He gave me two gifts: One, he gave me the opportunity to join you all in this family, and two, he gave me an outstanding amount of understanding and guidance when I made this decision to go home,” Hasselbeck said, echoing similar sentiments she shared when announcing her departure last month. “Mr. Ailes, I can’t thank you enough. I can’t thank all of you enough for this chance.”

The crew, along with co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade, came out from behind the camera to give their departing colleague several Christmas gifts, and stood behind her during her final shot sitting on the morning show’s signature couch.

“I can’t thank all of you enough for this chance. I will be watching you,” she told everyone involved with the show. “You’re going to continue just awesome work, like right before I came, anyway.”

Hasselbeck, a former “View” panelist who joined Fox News in 2013, has previously said she decided to leave the show to spend more time with her family.
