"The View" co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck is joining ABC's "Good Morning America" starting Oct. 11. According to the official ABC press release, she will be "covering hot-button family, lifestyle and child-rearing issues."
Hasselbeck joined the view in November, 2003. She first gained notoriety as a contestant on the second season of "Survivor." Over the years, Hasselbeck has generated attention and controversy for her outspoken conservative politics.
Hasselbeck's first report for "Good Morning America" will look at children and tattoos.
“I am thrilled to join the ‘Good Morning America’ team, and I am thankful for this opportunity to raise awareness and explore the most important issues facing parents and children,” Hasselbeck said.
