‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Will Air Live on Day After Oscars (Video)

“I will be delirious from staying up all night long,” DeGeneres admits

Ellen DeGeneres won’t be sleeping in after her big night hosting the Oscars next month.

DeGeneres announced on her show Thursday that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” will air live March 3, the day after the Oscars.

According to DeGeneres, the daytime talker has aired live “maybe twice in eleven years.”

“That means when you see me on the Oscars on Sunday night you’re gonna be like ‘I wonder what she was thinking when that person did that thing’ or ‘What does Meryl Streep smell like, really’ and I can tell you the next day,” DeGeneres told her audience.

Not that she won’t be tired — and perhaps a little bit under-dressed — for the live show.

“I will be delirious from staying up all night long,” DeGeneres admitted. “Not really sure what condition I’ll be in. I may be in my pajamas…I sleep naked…”
