Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report” won the Emmy for outstanding variety series

Gwen Stefani has no trouble singing, but hit a bump in her throat when announcing “The Colbert Report” as the winner in the Outstanding Variety Series category.

The No Doubt singer and new mentor on “The Voice” completely flubbed her pronunciation of the series and its host’s last name.

“And the Emmy goes to…’The Coldboar Report,” Stefani said during the presentation (above).

“The Colbert Report,” co-presenter and “Voice” star Adam Levine quickly clarified.

Stephen Colbert didn’t seem to mind, although Jimmy Fallon‘s decision to crash the acceptance speech kept him too busy to comment. Fallon, however, used the gaffe as the justification for his appearance on stage.

“She said it wrong, so there must be a mistake,” Fallon cracked.

Still, John Travolta‘s inexplicable mispronunciation of “Frozen” star Idina Menzel’s name during the Oscars earlier this year easily tops Stefani’s  blooper.
