Even Chris Hemsworth Hasn’t Seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Yet: ‘I Do Not Know Really How It Ends’ (Video)

“I feel like a fan of this whole thing as much as anyone else and am interested to see if I live or die,” Thor actor says

Really guys, you can stop asking Chris Hemsworth for “Avengers: Endgame” spoilers. Even Thor, the God of Thunder, has no idea what’s going to happen in the next Marvel movie.

But come on, you say, how can that be true? He’s the star of the freaking movie! Well, like all of you, he hasn’t seen it yet, he explained on “Ellen.” And because they shot “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame” back-to-back so long and so many months ago, the whole thing is practically a blur to Hemsworth.

“I feel like a fan of this whole thing as much as anyone else and am interested to see if I live or die,” Hemsworth told Ellen DeGeneres. “I have a rough idea of what happens, but no I have not seen the film, and I do not know really how it ends.”

He’s being charmingly evasive, but it does make sense that between the Russo brothers writing and rewriting on set, reshoots, and editing “Infinity War” while they were shooting, it’d be easy to lose track of all the action and not know what happens in the final cut.

Asked whether he would return for another film, Hemsworth pointed out that even death might not stop him from returning, as Thor’s brother Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, has managed to come back time and time again. But he has as much of an idea of Marvel’s plans beyond Phase Three as anyone else.

So go ahead and pester Mark Ruffalo or Tom Holland for spoilers. You’re much more likely to get something out of them. Watch Hemsworth’s clip above.
