Eventful Partners With Seacrest

Digital social media service will empower, engage Seacrest’s audience.

Digital social media service Eventful Inc. and Ryan Seacrest Productions have joined forces in a strategic marketing and technology alliance.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the pact, Seacrest joins Eventful’s board of advisers.

"American Idol" host Seacrest will produce entertainment content and marketing programs leveraging Eventful’s proprietary technologies. For example, Eventful’s unique Demand it! service will empower the audience for Seacrest’s national radio show, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," to vote on programming topics, “Demand” their favorite celebrities and participate in contests and promotions for entertainment and live events.

To begin their new alliance, Seacrest and Eventful are launching the Ryan Rock My Town contest through Eventful’s Demand it! The contest allows fans to demand a free concert in their city featuring Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. The city with the most Demanders will win the concert and participants will be eligible to receive the free tickets.

Fans can demand the concert online by going to RyanSeacrest.com, and the winning city will be announced Jan. 8 on Seacrest’s nationally syndicated radio show and on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles.

Ryan Seacrest Productions has multiple shows in production including “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution,” which premieres next year on ABC.
