Ex-Miss Pennsylvania Wants a Beyoncé Moment on ‘Something Borrowed, Something New’ (Exclusive Video)

“I want to shine brighter than the chandelier in the Ritz Carlton,” says bride Amber

To buy or to borrow is the question on TLC’s show “Something Borrowed, Something New” and on Friday’s episode, bride Amber has high expectations when it comes to her wedding gown.

“On my wedding day, I would love to channel Beyoncé,” the former Miss Pennsylvania says. “She’s glamorous, she’s elegant, sophisticated and sexy and those are all the things that I’d like to be on my big day.”

In an exclusive preview video, Amber explains to hosts Kelly Nishimoto and Sam Saboura the specific look she wants for her walk down the aisle.

“I want to shine brighter than the chandelier in the Ritz Carlton,” she says.

That might be tough to accomplish if she decides to wear her mother’s wedding dress, which was made by Amber’s great-grandmother. But even if she decides not to borrow the gown, it’ll still get reused someday.

“The truth of the matter, and my daughter really doesn’t want me to tell it — I really want to be buried in the dress,” confessed the mother of the bride.
