Ex-TLC Executive Headed to 3 Ball

Brant Pinvidic will run development at the company behind NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”

Former TLC executive Brant Pinvidic is headed to 3 Ball Productions ("The Biggest Loser"), taking on a newly created post as executive vice president of development.

In addition, 3 Ball has promoted Dan Snook to vice president of development. Pinvidic will report to 3 Ball chiefs/ co-founders J.D. Roth and Todd Nelson, while Snook will report to Pinvidic.

Pinvidic was most recently senior VP of programming and development at TLC, but left as part of an executive reshuffling above him. He helped develop shows such as "Rock the Reception, " "I Can Make You Thin" and "Take Home Nanny," while also luring Paige Davis back to host "Trading Spaces."

Before TLC, Pinvidic headed development at GRB Prods. ("Growitng Up Gotti," "Intervention").

Roth noted that 3 Ball has been "experiencing enormous growth, both creatively and in sheer production volume, and we knew the time was right to expand our development group and take advantage of this momentum. Brant’s unique combination of TV experience and entrepreneurship makes him ideal to lead this charge. Working closely with Dan Snook, who brings so much personality and commitment to his work, and who has been invaluable creatively, the two are a dream team for 3 Ball.”

Snook has been at 3 Ball since 2006, joining as a story editor on "Loser". He’s currently developing projects for Discovery, Lifetime, Syfy and VH1.
