Magazine ad revenues have been increasing bit by bit as the economy recovers from the Great Recession, and the fashion glossies continue that trend with their September issues.

Conde Nast’s Vogue is leading the pack with 584 ad pages, up 9.3 percent from last year, while Time Inc.’s In Style will run 431 pages – a new record.

Glamour, also a Conde Nast publication, is even with last year, though the cost of the ads must have increased because the magazine set a record for ad revenue.

Hearst publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire all saw increases, but Hearst also had the lone fashion magazine to see a decline – Elle, down 6.8 percent from last year with 350 ad pages.
