Jenna Elfman’s life is about to get a whole lot scarier.

AMC announced on Wednesday that the actress has joined the cast of “Fear the Walking Dead,” the network announced Wednesday. The actress is set to appear as a series regular for the upcoming fourth season.

No additional details on her role have been provided yet. But Elfman is a comedic actress, so maybe she’ll get to bring some more dark humor to the show.

Earlier in the day, Elfman posted the message, “New news coming SOON SOON SOON!” to Twitter and Instagram. So yeah, pretty big news indeed.

AMC also confirmed that Garret Dillahunt (“The Mindy Project”) has signed on as a regular too.

On Tuesday, Dillahunt tweeted, “”We got some pretty cool stuff planned!”

Great, we can’t wait to see who gets killed first after joining the prequel series to the smash hit “The Walking Dead.”

Both are joining the series after showrunner Dave Erickson left after the Season 3 finale.

Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg will take up the post, with “Walking Dead” producer and writer Scott M. Gimple set as executive producer.
