‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Star Eloise Mumford Lands Lead on ABC’s ‘Warriors’ Pilot

The drama project reunites the actress and its executive producer Chris Keyser

Executive producer Chris Keyser has found the female lead for his ABC drama pilot, “Warriors.”

Eloise Mumford will play the lead role of Stacey in the military medical drama.

“Eloise is really special,” Keyser said of the casting. “She is perfect for this role and our first choice. I couldn’t be happier or feel luckier that we have the chance to make ‘Warriors’ together.

Mumford recently starred in the CBS drama pilot, “Reckless.” Her television credits include ABC’s “The River,” Fox’s “Lone Star” and Starz’s “Crash.” She plays Kate in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” film.

The pilot follows the best and brightest of active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine on critically wounded warriors returning home from Afghanistan, on military families and veterans, as well as administering to Washington’s government elite.

From Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman‘s Mandeville for ABC Studios, Stephen Baigelman, the original writer of the script, will stay on with the show.

Paradigm represents Mumford.
