Final ‘Mad Men’ Trailer Looks Back at Ghosts of Don Draper’s Past (Video)

AMC releases a haunting tribute to the iconic drama through the eyes of its most dashing character

Before viewers say a sad goodbye to “Mad Men” on Sunday, they can take a journey down memory lane with Don Draper.

The final trailer for the AMC drama was released on Tuesday and it features moving moments from the last 10 years of the dashing advertising executive’s life.

The haunting montage takes us back to when Sally and Bobby were little children, Don (played by Jon Hamm) was still happily married to Betty (January Jones), and Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) was his meek-mannered secretary.

The video fast forwards to scenes from more recent episodes featuring Don’s new wife, Megan, Joan Harris, Roger Sterling, Pete Campbell and the late Bertram Cooper waving a melancholy farewell.

With the aid of the theme song “Times of Your Life” from Paul Anka, the trailer includes love and laughter, heartache and tears, and lots of precious “Mad Men” memories.

The final episode of “Mad Men” airs Sunday, May 17 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
