‘Flip or Flop’ Fans Express Concern Over Christina El Moussa’s Weight: ‘Please Don’t Get Too Thin!’

”She needs a cheese burger,“ suggests one fan of HGTV series

“Flip or Flop” fans are offering the real skinny on how they feel about Christina El Moussa’s figure.

El Moussa, who co-stars on the HGTV series with her estranged husband Tarek El Moussa, posted a photo of herself and the “Flip or Flop” crew on Instagram on Tuesday to commemorate the first day of shooting for the new season, and at least one commenter apparently thought the reality TV star was looking a little lean.

“And, just like that … The band is back together!!! #fliporflop #season7 #day1,” El Moussa wrote.

While the majority of responses came from well-wishers congratulating the duo and expressing enthusiasm for new “Flip or Flop” episodes, the post prompted one commenter to plead, “Christina you’re beautiful but please don’t get too thin!”

Over on Tarek El Moussa’s Instagram account, where he posted video footage from Day 1 of the season, a similar sentiment was aired.

“Who’s ready!!!!! This is a day one shoot of our new season of Flip or Flop and we are excited to make a great tv show for all our fans!!” El Moussa wrote. “So… what do you think of our crew!!???”

One commenter responded to El Moussa’s query with, “She needs a cheese burger lol … just sayin.”

Yet others commented that Christina El Moussa appeared to be preoccupied with her phone in the “we’re back” video.

“An awkward wave and then back to texting … she so not wants to be there,” observed one commenter.

“Who’s @christinaelmoussa texting?” another asked.

“Great video if one person was off the phone. Looks like they don’t care,” wrote another.

Offered another commenter, “….christina stands there, sounds like a dolphin & doesn’t do sh-t but look cute smh.”

The concerns about Christina El Moussa’s appearance and criticisms were, however, outweighed by fans expressing their elation over new episodes of the series inching ever closer.

“Yay!! I’m a huge fan. Looking forward to seeing the new episodes,” wrote one supporter.

“Awesome all back to work and flip those houses,” read another enthused response.

“I’m so glad….you guys are the best!” yet another well-wisher weighed in.

Whatever fans’ thoughts on Christina El Moussa’s weight — or voice — might be, she will be seen and heard from plenty in the coming months. In April, HGTV announced that “Flip or Flop” will be supersized to 20 episodes for its next season, which will premiere in December.
