Following a prolonged cancer battle, “Flip or Flop” contractor Frank “the Tank” Miller died on Nov. 17, and on Friday series star Tarek El Moussa paid tribute to his employee and friend on social media, following Miller’s funeral.
El Moussa posted that Miller’s funeral took place Friday, including a photo of himself posing next to a photo of Miller.
“I’m gonna miss you buddy!!!! My last photo with Frank,” El Moussa wrote.
“We just had an amazing funeral and I absolutely LOVED to hear everyone’s ‘Frank the tank’ stories,” El Moussa, himself a survivor of both thyroid and testicular cancer, added. “He affected and inspired everyone around him and that’s why he was so loved. This man told you how it is and that’s why I loved him. He’s the only employee I ever had that made me feel like I worked for him:),” the HGTV personality added.
“While watching the slideshow of his life today it made me think about his journey in life and what he has accomplished. He lived a very tough life and never complained,” El Moussa continued.
“He was a real man, the kind you rarely come across anymore. Frank I love you love you love you so much. Thank you for everything!! You were so amazing and I just miss you! I hope to be as strong as you one day and I love you like a brother … let’s all give a prayer to Frank as he enters the afterlife. You will be missed but NEVER forgotten:) Love you brother,” El Moussa continued.
In May, El Moussa shared with his Instagram followers that Miller had been fighting “multiple cancers” for many years, and that the cancer had “grown and spread” to the point where it had become inoperable.
In late October, El Moussa shared an update saying that Miller’s cancer had begun spreading again after immunotherapy, and is “working its way to his brain.”
