‘Flip or Flop’ Contractor Gives Health Update Amid Cancer Battle: ‘I’m Going to Beat This’

“I’m still fighting the good fight,” Frank “the Tank” Miller says after hospitalization

“Flip or Flop” contractor Frank “the Tank” Miller is keeping his spirits up amid an ongoing battle with cancer.

“Flip or Flop” star Tarek El Moussa posted a message from Miller, who’s battling multiple forms of cancer, on Sunday, in which Miller revealed the circumstances surrounding his recent hospitalization.

The contractor remained upbeat about his future, declaring, “I’m still fighting the good fight. I’m going to beat this sh-te.”

In a message posted via El Moussa’s Instagram account, Miller said that he experienced “excruciating stomach pain” that led to his hospitalization.

Miller added that he will undergo surgery this week.

“Hey Tarek. A little update on my condition. Last Friday I had excruciating stomach and chest pain so I went to ER at UCI and they admitted me,” Miller said. “The diagnosis after a bunch of tests is Pancreatitis and Gallstones with some problems with my Colon. I’m going to have surgery on Wednesday or Thursday to remove my gallbladder.”

Miller concluded, “I will be in hospital for a few days and hope to be home by the weekend. I’m still fighting the good fight. I’m going to beat this sh-te. I hope all is well with you and the family. Love you brother.”

Last week, El Moussa shared news that Miller had been rushed to the hospital, adding, “His body is shutting down.”

“Please please pray for Frank!! This amazing man made this video a week ago for all the amazing people who have supported him and also donated,” El Moussa wrote. “As I write this he is being rushed to the hospital so we need to all pray for him. His body is shutting down and I know he would love to be read the supportive comments from his fans and motivate him to fight!”

“He’s not doing well so now is the time to let him hear how much he is LOVED,” the star of the HGTV reality series continued. “Frank I love you like a brother man I really do.”

In May, El Moussa told fans that the contractor has been fighting “multiple cancers.”

In his own message, the contractor said that his cancer “has grown and spread” to the point where it has become inoperable.

“After three cycles of radiation and chemo the cancer has grown and spread. Now it’s inoperable due to being too close to my carotid artery,” the contractor wrote.

Later in the month, the contractor offered an update on his condition, saying that he was undergoing a tracheotomy after his airway began to close.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for Miller’s treatment.
