Josh Elliott already reported for the “Today” show, but he joined the morning show crew on-set for the first time this week.

“Josh Elliott is in for Natalie [Morales] this morning,” Matt Lauer said. “We’re happy about that.” Elliott joined Tuesday for the first time and Wednesday marked his second and final fill-in appearance for the week.

Elliott did the show’s news update 15 minutes into the program this morning and was featured in other segments throughout the show.
He left “Good Morning America” in March for NBC Sports.
