Former LAT Journalists Think Paper Will Fold

Survey: More than half believe print a goner

Ex-Los Angeles Times staffers have little faith the paper will survive.

This, according to a survey by something called the Journalism Shop, which polled 75 former LAT employees.

A couple key charts:

 

Of course, some of the respondents were victims of layoffs or buyouts, so it makes sense that they’ve soured on their former employer and the print business in general. But, despite the doom and gloom, roughly two-thirds of them said they want to stay in journalism.
