Fox Hires Jeni Mulein to Bolster Large Scale Event Series

The film veteran will work on “24: Live Another Day,” along with other projects in development and production

Fox Broadcasting has demonstrated its commitment to large-scale, epic event programming by hiring Jeni Mulein as Vice President of Event Series programming.

In her new role, Mulein will give input on the creative direction of all upcoming event series, both in development and in production. Those projects including “Wayward Pines,” “24: Live Another Day” and “Broadchurch.”

Mulein, who comes from the film world, will report to Shana C. Waterman, Fox’s Senior Vice President of Multi-Platform Programming & Event Series, the network said Friday.

Prior to joining Fox, Mulein was an executive at Original Film, where she oversaw a number of projects in development, including acquiring the spec script, “The End of History” for Original Film and Sony Pictures. She also co-produced the film “SWAT: Firefight.”
