“The Pontiac Bandit” is back.

Doug Judy (Craig Robinson) returns to Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” on Sunday to once-again tussle with nemesis Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg). In a featurette, exclusive to TheWrap, Samberg and Robinson discuss their highly contentious — yet mutually respecting — on-screen relationship.

Later, the comic actors get around to sharing their personal feelings about each other, which still has all of that admiration, but none of the vinegar.

“I love working with Craig,” Samberg said in the video. “He’s so funny. [It] really brings a whole extra thing when he shows up.”

“Andy is the ultimate in fun to work with,” Robinson offered.

On Sunday’s episode, when Peralta cuffs the formerly elusive criminal again, Judy offers to rat in exchange for his freedom — a deal that the Nine-Nine precinct’s star detective wants nothing to do with. Unfortunately, it’s not quite up to Peralta, and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) is all ears.

Perhaps Judy is going to turn informant on something related to the Giggle Pig drug ring Samberg and his task force have been trying to take down on the sophomore season. We’ll see on Sunday.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” airs Sunday nights on Fox at 8:30 p.m.
