Fox Buys Jason Bateman-Produced ‘Wife Nanny’ for TV

“Seinfeld” writer, Spike Ferensten, will also executive produce “Wife Nanny”

Jason Bateman‘s Aggregate Films production company and “Seinfeld” writer, Spike Feresten, have come together for  “Wife Nanny.”

The multi-camera, half-hour comedy follows a sports executive who secretly hires a gay best friend for his wife in a misguided attempt to improve his marriage.

Feresten will write and executive produce, along with Bateman, Peter Morgan (“Identity Thief” and “American Sniper”) and Aggregate Films president, James Garavente.

Universal Television will serve as the studio.
