Fox News Channel has announced that correspondent Jennifer Griffin will be assigned to the Hillary Clinton campaign, while Ed Henry is still “taking some time off” after revelations of an ongoing extra-marital affair.

Griffin joins chief congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel, who has been reporting on the Clinton campaign for the past month

“We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out,” a Fox News spokesperson said last month after reports that Henry had a 10-month relationship with a Las Vegas woman.

Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said the news raised “serious questions” about the Henry’s “lack of judgment.”

Most recently, Griffin served as FNC’s national security correspondent based out of Washington D.C., where she reported on all aspects of the military including the current actions against ISIS and Al Qaeda.

Chief political correspondent Carl Cameron and senior national correspondent John Roberts will continue as the lead reporters covering the Donald Trump campaign.
