Fox News Celebrates ‘Mother of all Bombs’ With Footage Set to Toby Keith Song (Video)

“The video is black and white. But that is what freedom looks like. That’s the red, white and blue,” Ainsley Earhardt says

The Pentagon released footage showing the moment the U.S. Military dropped the “mother of all bombs” on Afghanistan and Fox News turned it into a celebratory music video complete with Toby Keith singing “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue.”

The weapon killed 36 ISIS soldiers but didn’t harm a single civilian, according to Afghan officials.

“The video is black and white. But that is what freedom looks like. That’s the red, white and blue,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said as the video wrapped up.

The lyrics include: “Hey Uncle Sam, put your name at the top of his list; And the Statue of Liberty started shakin’ her fist; And the eagle will fly man, it’s gonna be hell; When you hear mother freedom start ringin’ her bell; And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you; Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue.”

Geraldo Rivera chimed in: “One of my favorite things in 16 years at Fox News is watching bombs drop on bad guys.”

The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb is the most powerful non-nuclear bomb in the U.S. arsenal. Thursday’s action marks the first time the MOAB, which was developed during the Iraq War, has been used in combat.

Fox News did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for a comment.
