Fox Orders ‘I Knew You When’ Script from Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross

Jeff Addiss and Will Matthews will write and co-executive produce the buddy comedy

Fox is developing the Conan O’Brien and Jeff Ross multi-camera buddy sitcom, “I Knew You When.”

O’Brien’s production company, Conaco, in association with Warner Bros. TV, will produce the 30-minute show about the bumpy road to success, as told from the dual perspectives of two old men who have achieved fame and fortune, Fox said.

Jeff Addiss and Will Matthews will write and co-executive produce; David Kissinger is set to exec produce as well.

Ross is the executive producer behind O’Brien’s late-night TBS show. This season, Conaco’s “Super Fun Night” on ABC premiered to strong ratings, but has dropped off since, despite a key “Modern Family” lead-in.
