Fox has given a cast-contingent pilot commitment to the workplace comedy “Linda From HR.”

The single-camera comedy, which comes from writers Geoff Barbanell and Itai Grunfeld, follows a woman, Linda from HR, who makes one bad decision that throws her monotonous, unfulfilled life into an exciting but dangerous tailspin of balancing work life, home life and a secret that could unravel everything.

Barbanell and Grunfeld, who previously wrote for the Disney XD series “Kickin’ It,” as well as Aaron Kaplan, Tracy Katsky, Dana Honor.

The announcement comes the same day the network ordered the pilot for an untitled new “X-Men” series from “Burn Notice” creator Matt Nix.

Nix’s project follows two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants who must fight to survive.

Fox has also ordered the comedy pilot “Thin Ice” from “New Girl” creator Liz Meriwether, which centers on a woman who reclaims her dreams when she finds herself at the end of the earth – in Antarctica – surrounded by a group of brilliant misfits.

Also in the works is the Seth MacFarlane dramedy “Orville,” which was ordered straight to series last year.
