20th Century Fox film-study veteran will oversee coverage of the network's drama and comedy series

Fox Broadcasting has named Lauren Levy Neustadter as its vice president of current programming, the network said Monday. Neustadter comes to the network from 20th Century Fox studio, where she served as vice president of production, overseeing films such as "This Means War" and "Parental Guidance."

In her new capacity, Neustadter will oversee coverage of Fox's comedies and dramas, such as "The Mindy Project" and "The Following, reporting to senior vice president of current programming James Oh.

"Lauren is an outstanding executive with razor-sharp instincts who possesses a deep understanding of the creative process and talent needs," Oh said in a statement. "She brings a fresh energy and level of experience to our team that will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow our slate of new and returning scripted series."

Prior to 20th Century Fox, Neustadter was vice president of Offspring Entertainment and a creative executive at Miramax Films.
