‘Franklin & Bash’ Scores a Second Season

TNT reups the light-hearted Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer legal drama

TNT has ordered a second season of "Franklin & Bash," a humor-infused legal drama that stars our old pals Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer.

The series, which also harnesses the talents of "A Clockwork Orange" star Malcolm McDowell as the conservative head of the firm employing the puckish heroes, draws 1.8M in the 18-49 age range. But when factoring in DVR playback and repeat screenings, boasts 3.9M total viewers each week.

The time-shifted ratings were enough to convince TNT to bring it back for a season of ten episodes, which will debut next summer.

Episodes this year have guest-starred Fred Willard, Tom Arnold and Jason Alexander. The season-one finale, featuring Tricia Helfer ("Battlestar Galactica") and "Machete" star Danny Trejo, airs Wednesday, August 3, at 9 p.m.
