In an homage to one of the most iconic series of the 1990s, ABC’s ’90s-set sitcom will feature a guest turn from Courtney Thorne-Smith, one of the original stars of “Melrose Place.”

The episode, titled “Jessica Place,” will see Jessica (Constance Wu) beside herself when the season comes to an end. So to fulfill her need for drama, Jessica and Honey (Chelsey Crisp) do some snooping and discover a juicy secret about Deidre.

Meanwhile, Louis (Randall Park) and Eddie (Hudson Yang) help Emery (Forrest Wheeler) find a way to channel negative emotions.

The series, set in 1995, revolves around 11-year-old, hip-hop-loving Eddie Huang, whose family has just moved from Washington, D.C.’s Chinatown to suburban Orlando, Florida, so that family patriarch Louis can follow his American dream of opening a Western-themed restaurant.

The “Jessica Place” episode of “Fresh Off the Boat” airs Tuesday, April 5, at 8/7c on ABC.
