“Fresh Off the Boat” and “Dr. Ken” may not cross over any time soon, but some of the cast members are continuing to show up on each other’s shows.
The Feb. 19 episode of “Dr. Ken,” titled “The Wedding Sitter,” will welcome Ian Chen, who plays Evan Huang on “Fresh Off the Boat,” and TheWrap has the exclusive first look at the episode.
“In this scene, Dave asked his friend Henry (Ian Chen) to come over to the Park house and help him sneak out for a game night!” star Albert Tsai told TheWrap. “It was fun having Ian on the set of Dr. Ken after I’ve done a couple episodes of Fresh Off the Boat.”
Tsai, who plays Ken Jeong‘s son Dave, previously appeared on “Fresh Off the Boat” in Season 1 as the Huangs’ neighbor Philip, and will reprise the role in Season 2.
“Dr. Ken” airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
