Bob Saget will reunite with his “Full House” co-star John Stamos on the latter’s new comedy “Grandfathered,” Fox announced Wednesday.

Saget will play Jimmy, the longtime best friend of Stamos’ character. The new sitcom follows Stamos as a middle-aged bachelor who discovers he not only has a son (Josh Peck), but that his son has a child of his own.

Saget and Stamos appeared on “Full House” together for the show’s entire run. Saget also recently joined “Fuller House,” the Netflix reboot of ABC sitcom “Full House.” Stamos will star in and produce the show.

Saget is also a Grammy nominated stand up comedian, who hosted “America’s Funniest Home Videos” from 1989 to 2007.

“Grandfathered” debuted on Tuesday night to modest ratings. The show received a 1.5 rating/5 share in the advertiser coveted adults 18-49 demographic and 5.3 million viewers.

“Grandfathered” airs on Fox on Tuesdays at 8 p.m/9c.
