“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke was at the center of the show’s latest sex-fueled controversy when she voiced objections to sex in movies and TV.
“Sex scenes should be more subtle,” the actress said earlier this week. “I’m British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway — I can’t stand it.”
Predictably, her comments caused confusion among viewers, who have seen the actress in more than her fair share of nude scenes on the HBO fantasy series.
Clarke has since clarified her position, blaming the Daily Mail for taking her words out of context, but the actress hasn’t appeared naked on the show that made her famous since its third season.
So is sex on “Game of Thrones” of a higher caliber? Or did Clarke use nudity to get famous only to now use her fame to avoid getting nude? Watch the latest Wrap Trends for more!
