‘Game of Thrones’ Star Maisie Williams Has Read Season 7 Scripts: ‘S— Gets Real’

New season of hit HBO series will premiere in summer 2017

(Spoiler alert: Please do not keep reading if you are not caught up on “Game of Thrones”)

Is it next summer yet?

“Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams apparently just finished reading the scripts for the HBO’s upcoming seventh season and is in absolute shock, according to a series of tweets.

“Just finished reading season 7,” Williams wrote. “S— gets REAL. I’d start preparing yourselves now. Scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this. Holy BALLS.”

It’s hard to imagine what more the show could do to shock us. After all, Season 6 saw Cersei blow up a good number of lords and ladies of King’s Landing; Arya successfully overcome blindness to become a master assassin; Jon Snow and Sansa retake Winterfell from the bastard Ramsay Bolton; and Daenerys finally set sail for Westeros with her dragons in tow.

Of course, we probably all thought the show couldn’t top Season 5, Season 4 … and so on. The Seven only know what the new season will bring, but one thing is for sure: there will be fire and blood.

Season 7 is set to air next summer on HBO.
