‘Gemini Man’ Trailer Shows Will Smith Battling a Younger Version of Himself (Video)

Ang Lee’s new sci-fi epic opens on Oct. 11

Will Smith battles a younger version of himself in the first full trailer for Ang Lee’s new sci-fi epic “Gemini Man.”

Smith stars as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move — and is played by Smith himself, with the help of age-shedding digital technology.

“Henry, has this ever happened to you before, your own government trying to kill you?” Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s character asks the older Smith’s Henry at one point.

“No, that’s new,” he replies.

Clive Owen and Benedict Wong also star in the film, which is scripted by David Benioff and Billy Ray and Darren Lemke from a story by Lemke and Benioff.

Producers include Jerry Bruckheimer, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. Chad Oman, Mike Stenson, Guo Guangchang, Brian Bell, Don Murphy executive produced.

Paramount and Skydance will release “Gemini Man” in theaters on Oct. 11.
