‘Jersey Shore’s’ Situation May Be Mambo-ing on ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Mike Sorrentino is in talks with the ABC dance show

They're going to need to break out the hair gel and tanning oil on the next season of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" if "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino joins the competition.

Sorrentino, he of the sculpted abs, is in talks for the upcoming season of the celebrity dance-off, according to OK Magazine.

Sorrentino's manager, Mike Petolino, told TheWrap that he couldn't confirm or deny the rumors. ABC has not yet responded to requests for comment, but a source with knowledge of "The Situation" said toTheWrap, that there was some truth to the rumors.

ABC will reveal the cast of notables who'll hit the dance floor in "Dancing With the Stars'" 11th season in a special that will air during the Aug. 30 episode of "Bachelor Pad."  premieres Sept. 20.

Whether Sorrentino ends up joining "DWTS," we're definitely going to be seeing him and the other "Shore" popping up elsewhere on the small screen in the next few months. In July, departed "Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick said she is working on a deal for her own series.
