Donald Trump delivered a speech for the ages today — at least, in Newt Gingrich’s mind. (And surely, Trump’s.)

The former Speaker of the House said on Twitter that the GOP presidential nominee’s Saturday address in Gettysburg, Pa. was “maybe the best reform speech since Reagan in 1980.”

Pretty high praise. Here’s Gingrich’s full tweet:

Readers can watch the speech and entire rally here.

At the event, Trump vowed to sue every woman who has accused him of sexual misconduct. Of course, that’s probably not what Gingrich was so impressed by. Policy-wise, Trump said he plans to eliminate common core education, completely repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act with a focus on health savings accounts instead, revive vocational schooling, end illegal immigration, and pass affordable childcare and eldercare laws, among other proposed changes.

Of particular interest to TheWrap readers, the billionaire businessman also said that, as president, he’d disallow AT&T’s takeover of Time Warner. The anti-mainstream media consolidation candidate also plans to breakup Comcast and NBCUniversal, too.

“As an example of the power structure I’m fighting, AT&T is buying Time Warner — and thus CNN — a deal we will not approve in my administration because it’s too much concentration of power in the hands of too few,” Trump told his enthusiastic rally crowd.

“Additionally, Comcast’s purchase of NBC concentrates far too much power in one massive entity that is trying to tell the voters what to think and what to do,” he stated. “Deals like this destroy democracy, and we’ll look at breaking that deal up and other deals like that. This should never, ever have been approved in the first place.”
